WELCOME TO MY WORLD

Hello, I am Tanya, an addicted traveler. To wander the world is in my nature. I consider myself a true nomad, who becomes incomplete if gets stuck at a place for too long time. A new journey begins, where I would like to share, remember, live through and assist your travel passion. I am always eager to learn, to discover and explore. Lately, I had the courage to slow down a very successful top manager career for following my dreams. Having visited about 60 countries, but plenty ahead to be discovered. Traveling is not for collecting numbers or for pining countries on the map. For me it's the best way to touch the unknown, to overcome the fears and to enjoy the difference. Be my guest or travel mate in this adventure. The best is yet to come.

Wadi Mujib, Jordan – the funniest scary trip ever

I did not know what to expect. All I knew in advance was that I want to do Wadi Mujib. A colleague of mine described it as a “must try “adventure. His short note pointed out that Wadi Mujib is a beautiful canyon, with a slow water stream through, a level that barely reaches the

Driving in Jordan

Driving in Jordan is a challenge. I did prefer to call it a challenge instead of danger because overcoming the local circumstances depends on personal driving skills. You better keep your eyes wide open, completely focus on the road, applying the best abilities to predict and overcome. Or at least, this is what you are

Bahrain - the island of don'ts

That’s my first impression of Bahrain. I just went out of the airport and already felt banned. What strikes the eyes is the series of prohibitions and do not do things welcoming the guest upon arrival. This is a bit weird because the vast majority of the expats believe Bahrain is the most liberal of

A birthday tour in Kuwait

Undoubtedly, December is the best month of the year for visiting Kuwait. Mild weather, spring to summer day temperatures (regarding the European standards), slight breeze, friendly sun, fresh greenery. The maximum day temperature reaches 22-24 C degrees, the minimum is about 12. It’s lovely staying outdoor – no fog, no haze, no dust. In

Kuwait - wowed at landing

This morning I asked myself: “Why did I come to Kuwait?” The answer seemed to be simple – because I have never been there, so respectively I was curious to visit and explore it. It was surprising to realize that I have never asked myself this question before, wherever my journey brought me to. That’s

Surviving the heaviest flood in Petra, Jordan

I was one of the closest witnesses of the heaviest flood for the last 60 years in Petra, Jordan. It was a smashing event, which left breathless even the native locals who are generally used to the floods in the area and experience two or three per year in the Valley of Moses (Wadi

Mind blowing last minute trip to Albania

What’s the first association at the moment you hear Albania? I guess most of you have never even heard about Albania. For the rest, it’s an unknown country, thrown in the middle of nowhere, considered uninteresting, out of the travel paths, unsafe, scary, not worth to visit… What if I oppose, you were completely

My wonder trip to Petra, Jordan

That’s one of the most remarkable and surprising sights I have ever traveled to. The ancient city of Petra, Jordan, known as Nabataeans’ Kingdom capital is a 2000 year old habitat, a mystical place, full of secrets, meant to fascinate, enchant and hypnotise. Yes, I am biased, but you would become biased too, just stepping
